Product Description

3M disc pad hub has an internal threaded metal insert. It attaches to the shaft of a sander and grinder. This hub secures a disc pad face plate and fiber disc in position. It firmly holds the face plate to support a fiber disc with a center hole of seven-eighths of an inch. This is secured with a compatible retainer nut. The disc pad hub allows for the use of face plates in four densities: soft, medium, hard, and extra hard. This feature accommodates various grinding tasks with a single power tool. Face plates are available separately.
