3M Scotchcast Flame-Retardant Compound 2131C, MPN 7000031844, is a two-part polyurethane resin designed for electrical applications. It is ideal for coating and repairing cable jackets, especially in rugged conditions. The compound offers high dielectric strength, excellent thermal shock, and mechanical shock resistance. Its low gel point allows for effective curing at room temperature. This resin is optimal for insulating cable splices up to one kilovolt and sealing multi-core cable sheaths.
