The 3M 7000028596 is a high-tack, high-strength spray adhesive in a 20 oz aerosol can, delivering a clear bond across a wide range of substrates. Part of the 3M Series 27 lineup, it is designed for general-purpose bonding tasks where fast tack and reliable hold are required. The adhesive sprays clear, making it suitable for applications where visible residue is unacceptable. It carries a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees F and provides up to 78 square feet of coverage per can. Net fill is 13.05 fluid ounces. Installers and tradespeople across multiple disciplines use this product for quick, field-applied bonds on job sites and in fabrication environments.
This adhesive is suited for general-purpose applications in both residential and commercial settings. It bonds a broad range of materials including foam insulation, fiberglass, fabric, cork board, rubber, vinyl, plastic, glass, ceramic, metal, wood, leather, cardboard, and paper. Typical use cases include duct insulation facing attachment, gasket positioning, panel lamination, and surface protection layup. This product is flammable — keep away from open flame, sparks, and heat sources during application and until fully cured.
