Product Description

3M 7000006092 is Scotch Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 88, an 8.5 mil thick vinyl insulating tape designed to provide a protective jacket and primary electrical insulation for splices rated up to 600 V. The tape is flame retardant and withstands an operating temperature range of 0 to 221 °F (-18 to 105 °C). It resists abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids and UV exposure and is compatible with common cable insulations and resins.

  • 8.5 mil vinyl backing with rubber-resin pressure-sensitive adhesive for electrical and mechanical protection
  • Provides primary insulation for splices up to 600 V; suitable for indoor and outdoor use with UV and weather resistance
  • Flame-retardant; operating temperature range 0 to 221 °F (-18 to 105 °C); resists abrasion, moisture, alkalis and acids
