The 3M 7000002319 is a reusable, corded earplug designed for workers in high-noise industrial environments. The premolded, triple-flange design eliminates the roll-before-fit step, keeping the tip clean even when hands are dirty or gloves are worn. A metal-detectable ball bearing is built into each plug for use in food processing, pharmaceutical, and other contamination-sensitive facilities. These earplugs carry a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25 dB. The soft polymer construction is washable and reusable, which reduces waste and replacement frequency. Licensed tradespeople, safety coordinators, and facilities managers specify this product where consistent hearing protection compliance is required.
These earplugs are suited for a broad range of industrial applications. Recommended tasks include assembly, chipping, chiseling, drilling, grinding, machining, riveting, sawing, sanding, welding, furnace operations, painting, pouring and casting, and heavy equipment operation. Industries where this earplug is commonly deployed include construction, general manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, and transportation. The no-roll insertion method makes fitting fast during high-output tasks. Each pair is packaged in a poly bag that keeps the earplugs clean between uses. The 7000002319 is also test compatible with the 3M E-A-Rfita Validation System for workplace fit testing programs.
Compatible with the 3M E-A-Rfita Validation System. Designed for regular ear canal sizes. Suitable for repeated use across the industrial applications and industries listed in the product description.
Insertion requires no rolling — hold the stem and push the earplug gently into the ear canal until sealed. Safety personnel should verify proper fit per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 hearing conservation program requirements. Clean earplugs with mild soap and water before re-use and inspect for tears or deformation before each deployment. Discard if the flange material shows signs of damage or if the earplug no longer seals correctly.
