The 3M 7000002062 is a disposable P95 particulate respirator designed to deliver at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain oil-based and non-oil-based particles. A built-in carbon layer reduces exposure to nuisance levels of organic vapors, including solvents, degreasers, and resins. The facepiece uses 3M advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media to support easier breathing while maintaining filtration performance. A 3M Cool Flow Exhalation Valve rapidly releases hot, humid exhaled breath, reducing heat and moisture buildup inside the facepiece. This unit is NIOSH approved and suited for licensed tradespeople and industrial workers operating in environments where both particulates and nuisance organic vapors are present.
This respirator is well suited for foundry operations, laboratory settings, agricultural work, petrochemical manufacturing, and automotive undercoating applications. Any environment where workers face simultaneous exposure to airborne particles and nuisance-level organic vapors is a typical use case. The Cool Flow Valve design makes this respirator especially practical during long shifts, high-heat conditions, and physically demanding tasks. The facepiece is designed to be compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection, supporting layered PPE setups common in industrial and trade environments.
Designed as a disposable P95 particulate respirator with nuisance organic vapor reduction for industrial and trade applications including foundry, petrochemical, agricultural, and laboratory environments where both particles and nuisance-level organic vapors may be present.
This respirator is donned and fitted by the end user and does not require installation by a licensed trade professional. Before use, perform a fit check according to the instructions provided with the respirator and in compliance with applicable OSHA respiratory protection program requirements under 29 CFR 1910.134. Inspect the respirator before each use and discard if the facepiece, valve, or headbands show signs of damage, soiling, or compromised integrity. Do not modify the respirator or use it beyond the conditions stated on the NIOSH approval label.
