The 3M 7000002059 is a disposable R95 particulate respirator built with an integrated carbon filter layer for use in environments where both airborne particles and nuisance levels of acid gases may be present. NIOSH-approved to the R95 standard, it uses 3M proprietary electrostatically charged microfiber filter media to reduce breathing resistance while maintaining filtration efficiency. A collapse-resistant shell protects the facepiece shape during use, and an adjustable noseclip with cushioning nose foam helps create a secure, custom seal. The lightweight construction is intended to promote longer wear times in demanding industrial settings.
This respirator is suited for industrial and commercial applications including glass etching, chemical processing, paper processing, aluminum smelting, and brewing operations where workers face exposure to particulates and nuisance-level acid gases. It is also appropriate for grinding, bagging, sanding, sweeping, and general dusty operations in both oil and non-oil environments. The two-strap design with dual-point attachment helps maintain a stable fit across a range of face sizes and is compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection.
Designed for use in oil and non-oil particulate environments where R95-rated respiratory protection is required, including glass etching, chemical processing, paper processing, aluminum smelting, brewing operations, grinding, bagging, sanding, and sweeping applications.
Before each use, the wearer must read and understand the User Instructions included with the product packaging. A written respiratory protection program is required under OSHA standards in the U.S. before deploying respirators in the workplace. Perform a user seal check each time the respirator is donned to confirm proper fit. This respirator is intended for single-use and should be discarded when breathing resistance increases, the facepiece is damaged, or the work session is complete.
