The 3M 7000000856 is the Part A Accelerator component of the Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 105 two-part system. This clear, colorless, low-viscosity epoxy is designed for fast-setting, flexible bonding across a wide range of substrates. It features a 1:1 mix ratio with a work life of 3 to 5 minutes and reaches handling strength in approximately 20 minutes. The low viscosity formulation allows for easy pouring and metering in production or field service environments. This listing covers the 5-gallon container of the A-side component. Licensed applicators and industrial maintenance professionals working with structural bonding applications are the primary users.
This adhesive is suited for bonding metals, ceramics, wood, and many plastics in both light industrial and maintenance settings. The fast cure schedule makes it practical for repair work where downtime must be minimized. As the Accelerator side of a B/A two-component system, it must be used with the corresponding Part B resin to produce a fully cured bond. Typical applications include fabrication, equipment repair, and assembly work where a clear, flexible epoxy bond line is required.
Designed for use as the Part A Accelerator component in the Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 105 B/A two-part system. Must be paired with the corresponding Part B resin at a 1:1 ratio to achieve a fully cured bond.
This product is the A-side component only and will not cure without mixing with the corresponding Part B resin at the specified 1:1 ratio. Surface preparation, including cleaning and abrading bonding surfaces, is critical to achieving maximum bond strength. Dispensing and mixing should follow the adhesive manufacturer's application guidelines. Wear appropriate PPE including chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling uncured epoxy components.
