The 3M 7000000757 Scotch-Brite Radial Bristle Disc is a flexible abrasive disc engineered for surface preparation, coating removal, and finishing work on metal and other hard surfaces. Built with proprietary 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain molded directly into flexible bristles, this 3/4-inch diameter disc delivers aggressive cutting action while conforming to irregular contours and complex part geometries. At P80 grit, it is suited for tasks that require moderate material removal combined with controlled surface conditioning. Trade professionals and industrial maintenance technicians use it to strip paint, remove rust, eliminate weld burns, and clean heavy oxides without the hazards associated with wire brushes.
This disc is designed for use in maintenance, fabrication, and light industrial applications where surface preparation must be thorough without damaging the base material. Its curved, flexible bristle construction makes it effective on flat surfaces as well as contoured workpieces. Because the abrasive grain is embedded throughout the bristle, cutting performance remains consistent as the disc wears. It contains no wire filaments, reducing the risk of wire fragment ejection during operation. Typical users include welders, pipefitters, metal fabricators, and maintenance technicians performing surface prep before coating or inspection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fitment radial bristle disc for use with compatible rotary tools and right-angle die grinders accepting 3/4-inch diameter disc attachments.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified technicians familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Ensure the rotary tool is powered off and unplugged before mounting or removing the disc. Verify that the tool's rated RPM meets or exceeds the disc's maximum rated speed before operation. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating abrasive discs.
