The 3M 7000000388 is a Roloc TR quick-change abrasive disc designed for fast material removal, blending, and surface prep on metal and other substrates. At 2 inches in diameter, it mounts to Type R and TR quick-change disc holders for rapid attachment and release without tools. The disc uses aluminum oxide abrasive on a polyester cloth backing rated YF weight, delivering durability and flexibility suited to contoured and flat surfaces alike. At 120 grit fine grade, it is well suited for finishing passes, deburring, and light stock removal. Maximum rated speed is 25,000 RPM.

This disc is used in fabrication shops, HVAC duct work prep, plumbing rough-in, and electrical panel enclosure finishing where controlled surface conditioning is required. The small 2-inch diameter gives access to tight areas, weld zones, and inside corners that larger discs cannot reach. The brown cloth-backed construction handles intermittent heat and lateral stress better than fiber-backed alternatives, making it a practical choice for die grinder or right-angle tool use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
