The 3M 3100527 is a full-body X-style vest safety harness from the ExoFita X300 series, designed for working at height in demanding job site conditions. Built with 6,000-pound-rated polyester webbing, the harness combines a nylon and polyester hybrid comfort padding system with reflective panels and lightweight aluminum hardware. The dorsal D-ring area features an automatic stand-up design that enables efficient connections and helps maintain a safe fit throughout the shift. Revolving torso buckles with locking capability and auto-locking quick-connect buckles are available to optimize fit retention. This harness is sized for X-Large and 2X users. It is installed and inspected by qualified safety professionals or competent persons per applicable fall protection regulations.
The ExoFita X300 full-body harness is suited for construction, maintenance, and industrial applications where workers operate at elevation. Its low-profile suspension trauma strap is integrated directly into the harness webbing, reducing post-fall suspension trauma risk. The integrated easy-link self-retracting lifeline adapter allows fast connection and disconnection of personal SRLs on select configurations. A weight distribution system is available on select models to help reduce shoulder strain during extended wear. The harness is available as a single unit and includes 3M Connected Safety ID with RFID for inventory, inspection, and record management workflows.
Designed as an OEM-style full-body harness for use with compatible fall arrest systems, self-retracting lifelines, and lanyards in residential, commercial, and industrial at-height applications. Select configurations are compatible with the integrated easy-link SRL adapter system.
Installation and fit inspection must be performed by a competent person as defined by OSHA fall protection standards before each use. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical hazards before donning the harness in electrical work environments. Do not alter, cut, or modify any webbing, hardware, or stitching. Inspect all buckles, D-rings, webbing, and stitching for wear, damage, or deformation prior to each use and remove from service immediately if any defect is found.
