The 3M 19364 is a full brim, slotted hard hat built for job site head protection in demanding trade environments. Constructed from polyethylene, it uses a 4-point woven nylon suspension system with a ratchet adjustment mechanism for a secure, repeatable fit. The hat meets ANSI Z89.1 Type 1, Class C, Class E, and Class G requirements, making it appropriate across a range of electrical and general industrial applications. A moisture-wicking brow pad is included and is removable, washable, and replaceable for extended service life. Weighing 13.58 ounces, the shell balances protection with all-day wearability for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general construction trades.
This hard hat is suited for residential and commercial construction sites, utility work, and industrial facilities where head protection compliance is required. The full brim design provides overhead impact protection as well as shielding from sun and incidental liquid splash at the brow and sides. Goggle retaining slots on the suspension allow compatible eye protection to be stowed directly on the hat, reducing the need for separate storage. A chin strap can be accommodated for work at elevation or in high-movement environments.
Designed as a standard replacement or new-issue hard hat compatible with ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 accessory systems including chin straps and goggle retainers designed for slotted full brim shells.
Hard hats are fitted and replaced by the end user or site safety personnel — no tools required for suspension adjustment. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, chalking, or deformation before each use and replace any damaged components immediately. Follow the manufacturer date-of-manufacture stamp and applicable site safety programs for scheduled replacement intervals. Do not modify, paint, or apply adhesive labels to the shell unless the manufacturer has verified compatibility, as some substances degrade polyethylene and void ANSI ratings.
