This tape features a 1.8 mil aluminum foil backing coated with a cold-weather solvent acrylic adhesive, giving it a total thickness of 3.3 mil without liner. The aluminum foil backing allows the tape to conform around corners, curves, and irregular surfaces, making it well suited for both fibrous ductboard and sheet metal ductwork. HVAC technicians and sheet metal workers rely on this tape for sealing interior and exterior seams and joints on air duct systems. The cold-weather acrylic adhesive bonds on contact and performs in temperatures as low as -40 F and as high as 260 F, making it reliable across a wide range of job site conditions.
