The 3M 1403200 is a full-body fall protection harness from the ExoFita X300 series, built for workers who operate at height in demanding job site conditions. Constructed with 6,000-pound-rated polyester webbing and a nylon/polyester hybrid comfort padding system, the X300 incorporates reflective Scotchlite panels for low-light visibility. Lightweight aluminum hardware keeps overall weight manageable at 6.56 pounds. An automatic stand-up dorsal D-ring with an anti-sliding pad enables fast, reliable connector engagement. The X-Style vest configuration distributes load across the torso for extended wear comfort. This harness is sized for X-Large through 2X users.
The 1403200 is intended for general industry, construction, and maintenance applications requiring ANSI-compliant full-body fall arrest protection. It suits workers performing elevated tasks on scaffolding, steel structures, rooftops, towers, and other work-at-height environments. The integrated low-profile suspension trauma strap reduces post-fall suspension trauma risk. Auto-locking quick-connect buckles and revolving torso buckles allow fast donning and fit adjustment, making this harness practical for crews that suit up frequently throughout the workday.
Designed for use with standard fall arrest lanyards, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), and ancillary connecting hardware compatible with a dorsal D-ring attachment point. Select configurations support an integrated easy-link SRL adapter for direct personal SRL connection and disconnection.
Fall protection harnesses must be fitted, inspected, and used by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards. Before each use, inspect all webbing, buckles, D-rings, and stitching for wear, cuts, chemical damage, or deformation and remove from service any harness that shows damage or has arrested a fall. Power down or de-energize equipment in the work zone before connecting to anchorage points where electrical hazards are present. Donning and adjustment must follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure all buckles are fully engaged and webbing lies flat without twists.
