The 3M 1402175 is a full-body safety harness engineered for fall protection during work at height. Built under the DBI-SALA ExoFita X200 line, the harness combines 6,000-pound-rated polyester webbing with a nylon and polyester hybrid comfort padding and robust alloy steel hardware. The stand-up back D-ring design allows faster, easier dorsal D-ring connections in the field. An anti-slide back D-ring plate reduces dorsal D-ring migration and provides a dedicated adapter point for connecting personal self-retracting lanyards. Locking torso-adjustment and quick-connect buckle options support consistent, safe harness fit across a crew. This unit is sized Extra-Small and weighs 5.15 pounds.
The ExoFita X200 is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, utility work, and any trade application requiring ANSI-compliant personal fall arrest. Licensed contractors, ironworkers, electricians, roofers, and maintenance technicians working at elevation are the primary installers and users. The Extra-Small sizing makes it appropriate for smaller-framed workers who require a properly fitted harness to maintain both safety performance and comfort during extended wear on site.
Designed as an OEM-style personal fall arrest harness compatible with standard dorsal-attachment self-retracting lanyards and shock-absorbing lanyards used in general industry and construction fall protection systems.
Donning and adjustment of a fall arrest harness should be performed by the worker prior to each use following the manufacturer inspection checklist. The harness must be connected to an ANSI Z359-compliant anchorage point and paired with an appropriate connecting subsystem before any work at elevation begins. Inspect all webbing, hardware, and stitching for damage before each use and remove from service any harness that has arrested a fall. Installation and program administration should be overseen by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M.
