The 3M 1402111 is a medium-size full body safety harness in the ExoFita X200 series, engineered for workers operating at height on commercial and industrial job sites. Built with 6,000-pound-rated polyester webbing and robust alloy steel hardware, the harness integrates a nylon and polyester hybrid comfort padding system. A stand-up dorsal D-ring enables faster clip-in connections, while an anti-slide back D-ring plate reduces unwanted movement during use. An integrated easy-link SRL adapter allows quick connection and disconnection of personal self-retracting lifelines. Licensed fall protection professionals and safety-qualified tradespeople are the primary installers and fitters of this harness.
The 3M 1402111 is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, steel erection, and utility work where OSHA-regulated fall protection at six feet or greater is required. The ExoFita X200 sits in the mid-tier of the ExoFita lineup, between the X100 and X300, and is available in multiple fit configurations. Revolving torso adapters and dual-locking quick-connect buckles allow field adjustments to maintain a secure and comfortable fit throughout a shift. The low-profile suspension trauma strap design is integrated between harness webbing to reduce post-fall suspension trauma risk.
Designed as an OEM full body harness for use with compatible lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and personal fall arrest systems meeting ANSI Z359 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 requirements. Part of the 3M DBI-SALA ExoFita X200 series, compatible with personal SRLs via the integrated easy-link SRL adapter.
Fitting and inspection of fall protection harnesses must be performed by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M. Power down or de-energize adjacent electrical equipment before donning or adjusting the harness in live electrical environments. Perform a pre-use inspection of all webbing, hardware, and D-ring components before each shift. Do not alter, modify, or repair any harness component — remove from service immediately if damage is found.
