It expands to 6 ft when taut and automatically contracts, reducing trip fall hazards. The lightweight design includes a unique inner core that extends to absorb energy during a fall, limiting arrest forces to safe levels. A built-in impact indicator provides visual evidence if the shock has been involved in a fall.
