The 3M 1113133 is a full-body fall protection harness designed for construction and positioning applications at height. Built on the ExoFit NEX X300 platform, this harness uses 6,000-pound-rated polyester webbing, a nylon and polyester hybrid comfort padding system with reflective panels, and lightweight aluminum hardware. An automatic stand-up dorsal D-ring supports efficient connection during use. The harness ships as a single unit and weighs 6.9 pounds. It is intended for use by trained workers and installed by qualified safety professionals or competent persons as defined by OSHA fall protection standards.
This harness is suited for residential and commercial construction environments where positioning and fall arrest capability are required in the same system. The 2X size accommodates larger-framed workers on framing, roofing, steel erection, and general construction tasks. The integrated low-profile suspension trauma strap and auto-resetting lanyard keepers support fast rig-up and de-rig between tasks. The connected Safety ID tag using RFID supports site-level inspection recordkeeping and inventory management.
Designed as an OEM-style full-body harness for use with compatible fall arrest lanyards, self-retracting lanyards, and anchorage connectors meeting ANSI Z359 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M requirements.
Donning and fitting must be performed by the worker prior to each use following the manufacturer inspection procedure. A competent person must verify proper fit and inspect all hardware, webbing, and stitching before each shift. Power-down and lockout procedures are not applicable to harness equipment, but the worker must confirm all connectors are fully engaged before approaching a fall hazard. Installation and use must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards.
