The 2GIG 2GIG-SMKT8-345 Smoke/Heat/Freeze Sensor detects smoke, rapid temperature rise, and extreme temperatures. Meeting UL217 8th edition and UL268 7th edition standards, it recognizes smoke from synthetic materials and minimizes false alarms using advanced detection algorithms. The sensor features an optical smoke chamber and provides audible alarms greater than 85 dB at 10 feet.
