The tubing is made from cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and is ideal for residential fire safety systems. It is also used in radiant heating and cooling applications along with hydronic piping systems. This product does not contain ferrous corrodible components or allows isolation from metals. Use this tubing with ProPEX fittings for effective connections.
