Product Description

Square D B6.90 thermal unit is designed to protect motors and controllers from overheating due to prolonged overcurrents. It works by detecting overload conditions and will trip within twenty seconds. This unit has a one-piece construction which allows motor current to flow through a heater winding. Under overload conditions, the heat generated causes a solder to melt, enabling the ratchet wheel to disengage and open the control circuit contacts.
