The SharkBite Max UR249 is a drop ear elbow designed for a push-fit connection. It connects 1/2 inch PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9 pipes to a MNPT threaded fitting. This fitting is used for shower arms and tub spouts installation. It is approved for underground and behind-wall applications without access panels.
