It meets original equipment specifications, making it a direct fit without modification. Licensed pool and spa service technicians typically install this component during seasonal maintenance or when replacing worn seals and internal valve parts. The 5009+ is a small but critical part in keeping diverter valve systems operating leak-free and at correct flow capacity.

This plug is designed for use in residential and light commercial pool and spa systems where diverter valves control water routing between returns, drains, and equipment. It is compatible with 2 Port NeverLube valves and both 2 Port and 3 Port Gray diverter valves.
