It controls power to the burner or blower circuit by sensing temperature and opening or closing the circuit at defined set points: 185 degrees F (open) and 155 degrees F (close). The unit includes a 3-inch insert for proper mounting depth. Auto-reset operation means the switch restores itself once temperatures return to safe operating range, without requiring manual intervention. This part is installed by licensed HVAC technicians as part of furnace safety and control servicing.

This limit switch is suited for forced-air gas furnace applications where overheat protection is required. It monitors heat exchanger or plenum temperatures and shuts down the burner if temperatures exceed the rated trip point, protecting the heat exchanger and downstream components. Compatible units identified in supplier data include 2EE04705724, 2EE04707324, and 1NP0442 among others. It is an OEM replacement part intended to restore original factory performance and safety function.

Key Features

Auto-reset operation restores circuit automatically after cooldown, no manual reset required

Open set point of 185 degrees F with close set point of 155 degrees F

3-inch insert length for correct mounting depth in furnace applications

OEM replacement part designed to match original factory specifications

Compact form factor fits standard limit switch mounting locations

Compatibility

Compatible with YORK furnace units including 2EE04705724, 2EE04707324, and 1NP0442.
