It provides a 90-degree directional change in a single fitting, with one male-threaded end and one female-threaded end, eliminating the need for a separate nipple in tight installations. Rated at 150 psi, this fitting is built for low-pressure gas, steam, water, and air distribution applications. The black finish is standard for gas piping installations. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of fitting in both new construction and retrofit work.

This street elbow is suited for residential and light commercial piping systems where space constraints require a compact directional change. It is commonly used in natural gas distribution, compressed air lines, water supply piping, and steam systems. The 1-1/4 inch fitting size fits standard Schedule 40 black iron pipe of the same nominal diameter. Its malleable iron construction handles the mechanical stress associated with threaded assembly and system vibration better than cast iron alternatives.

Key Features

90 degree street elbow configuration with male and female threaded ends for compact directional changes

Class 150 pressure rating at 150 psi for low-pressure gas, steam, air, and water service

Malleable iron construction resists cracking and deformation under mechanical stress and vibration

Black finish suitable for natural gas and fuel gas piping per standard installation practice

Threaded end connections compatible with standard NPT pipe threads

Certified to multiple international standards including FM Approved and cULus Listed

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit component for 1-1/4 inch threaded black iron pipe systems rated at Class 150 service.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter following applicable local codes and IFGC or IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before disassembling or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an approved pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly. Do not over-tighten threaded connections, as malleable iron fittings can crack if excessive torque is applied.

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: 90 Degree Street Elbow

Fitting Size: 1-1/4 inches

Material: Malleable Iron

Finish: Black

Connection Type: Threaded

Pressure Rating: 150 psi

Class: 150

Weight: 1.06 pounds

Standards: ABNT Certified, EN 10242, FM Approved, GB/T 3287, GB/T 7306.2, ISO 7/1, cULus Listed

Standard Information

Brand: VALUE COLLECTION

Manufacturer Part Number: B92 32
