Sized at 1-1/2 inches with female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends, this elbow provides a threaded 90-degree direction change in the pipeline. CPVC construction offers greater heat and pressure resistance than standard PVC, making it appropriate for both hot and cold water service. Weighing 0.99 pounds, this fitting is installed by plumbers and pipefitters working on industrial, commercial, and residential piping systems where threaded CPVC fittings are specified.

This fitting is suited for Schedule 80 CPVC piping systems in applications such as chemical processing lines, hot water distribution, and industrial fluid handling. The FIPT x FIPT end connections allow it to thread directly onto male-threaded pipe or fittings without solvent cement, which can simplify certain install configurations. It is a single-piece fitting sold individually and is appropriate for above-ground and in-wall threaded piping runs where CPVC Schedule 80 is the specified material.

Key Features

Schedule 80 CPVC construction for higher pressure and temperature ratings than Schedule 40

1-1/2 inch fitting size for use with standard 1-1/2 inch CPVC pipe

FIPT x FIPT end connections for fully threaded assembly without solvent cement

90-degree elbow geometry for perpendicular direction changes in piping runs

Lightweight at 0.99 pounds, reducing load on overhead or wall-mounted piping

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1-1/2 inch Schedule 80 CPVC threaded piping systems using FIPT connections.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM standards for CPVC piping systems. Shut off and depressurize the piping system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply a CPVC-compatible thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads before assembly. Do not use petroleum-based sealants or lubricants, as they can degrade CPVC material.

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: 90 Degree Elbow

Fitting Size: 1-1/2 inches

Material: CPVC

End Connection: FIPT x FIPT

Schedule: 80

Weight: 0.99 pounds

Standard Information

Brand: VALUE COLLECTION

Manufacturer Part Number: 808-015C
