Constructed from polyvinylchloride (PVC), this elbow accepts a 2 inch barbed tube on one end and connects to a 2 inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT) port on the other. The barbed end grips tubing securely to resist pull-out, while the female-threaded end threads onto a male-threaded pipe or fitting. Plumbers, irrigation technicians, and pool and spa service professionals commonly install this type of fitting.

This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, pool and spa plumbing, and irrigation applications where PVC piping terminates into a flexible tubing run. The 90-degree elbow geometry makes it practical in tight spaces where a straight fitting cannot make the directional change. It is sold individually and is appropriate for low-pressure, non-compressed-air fluid lines compatible with PVC construction.

Key Features

2 inch barbed end secures flexible tubing without adhesive or additional fasteners

2 inch FIPT female-threaded end mates with standard male-threaded PVC or metal pipe

PVC construction resists corrosion and common pool chemicals

90-degree elbow geometry for directional changes in confined spaces

Lightweight at 0.34 pounds — easy to handle in overhead or tight-access installations

Compatibility

Designed as a standard replacement or new-installation barbed tube elbow for 2 inch barbed tubing and 2 inch FIPT-threaded PVC piping systems.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified technician in accordance with applicable IPC guidelines. Shut off water supply and depressurize the line before installing or replacing any fitting. The FIPT end requires a compatible male-threaded fitting and should be sealed with thread tape or pipe dope rated for PVC use. The barbed end should be secured with an appropriate clamp or band to prevent tubing separation under pressure.

Technical Specifications

Type: Elbow

Barb Size: 2 inches

Thread Size: 2 inches FIPT

Thread Gender: Female

Material: Polyvinylchloride (PVC)

Weight: 0.34 pounds

Package Quantity: 1

Standard Information

Brand: VALUE COLLECTION

Manufacturer Part Number: 1407-020
