Built to Class 300 standards, it carries a liquid and gas pressure rating of 1500 psi, making it suitable for demanding service conditions. The black finish provides corrosion resistance for general-purpose applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this fitting where a 45-degree directional change is needed in a threaded run, with one male and one female threaded end eliminating the need for an extra nipple at the turn.

This street elbow is used in commercial and industrial plumbing, gas distribution, and mechanical piping systems where space is limited and a direct male-to-female connection simplifies the assembly. Its Class 300 rating makes it appropriate for higher-pressure service lines compared to standard Class 150 fittings. It is a common component in black iron gas piping, compressed air headers, and hydronic systems requiring a 45-degree offset.

Key Features

45-degree street configuration with one male and one female threaded end for direct inline connections

Class 300 rated malleable iron construction supporting up to 1500 psi liquid and gas service

2-inch fitting size accommodates standard 2-inch NPT threaded pipe

Black finish suitable for gas piping and general mechanical applications

Malleable iron material provides impact resistance and ductility compared to cast iron

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting compatible with standard 2-inch NPT threaded pipe systems rated for Class 300 service.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes, the International Plumbing Code, or the International Fuel Gas Code where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the line fully before removing any existing fittings. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads before assembly. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive torque.

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: 45 Degree Street Elbow

Fitting Size: 2 inches

End Connections: Threaded (NPT)

Material: Malleable Iron

Finish: Black

Classification: Class 300

Pressure Rating: 1500 psi (liquid and gas)

Package Quantity: 2

Standard Information

Brand: VALUE COLLECTION

Manufacturer Part Number: 13538

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/1387a1cbc85e69f037e155e448d18e22_83483663-2f79-4a9b-bf14-328f24311972.jpg?v=1788316308
