Constructed from Class 150 malleable iron with a galvanized finish coating, this fitting handles liquid and gas service up to 300 psi and steam service up to 150 psi. The street elbow configuration features one male-threaded end and one female-threaded end, allowing it to connect directly to another fitting without a nipple in between. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of fitting in both new construction and retrofit applications.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial piping installations where a 90 degree directional change is needed in a tight space. The street elbow design reduces the number of components required at a turn, making it useful in areas with limited clearance. Typical applications include gas supply lines, water distribution piping, and general industrial fluid service systems that require a Class 150 galvanized malleable iron fitting at 1/2 inch pipe size.

Key Features

90 degree street elbow configuration with one male and one female threaded end

Malleable iron construction rated for Class 150 service

Galvanized finish coating for corrosion resistance in standard pipe environments

300 psi pressure rating for liquid and gas service

150 psi pressure rating for steam service

1/2 inch fitting size for standard NPT threaded pipe connections

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1/2 inch NPT threaded malleable iron pipe systems rated at Class 150 for liquid, gas, and steam service.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local mechanical and plumbing codes, including the IPC and IFGC where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads before assembly. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive torque.

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: 90 Degree Street Elbow

Fitting Size: 1/2 inch

Material: Malleable Iron

Class: 150

Liquid and Gas Pressure Rating: 300 psi

Steam Pressure Rating: 150 psi

Finish Coating: Galvanized

Package Quantity: 5

UNSPSC Code: 40175300

Standard Information

Brand: VALUE COLLECTION

Manufacturer Part Number: 13023

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/1387a1cbc85e69f037e155e448d18e22_87a43f83-a81a-4b7b-a8d3-52644a7247a3.jpg?v=1788572281
