Part of the SRL Series of 1/2 inch bimetal temperature controls, it opens the circuit when the sensed temperature reaches 350 degrees F and holds open until manually reset by a technician. The bimetal construction provides reliable thermal response in a compact, low-profile package. Vertical 1/4 inch terminals simplify wiring connections during installation. This switch is intended for licensed HVAC technicians servicing residential and light commercial heating equipment.

The SRL350 is suited for use as a high-limit safety control in gas furnaces, electric furnaces, and other heating appliances where an automatic reset would be unsafe or non-compliant. It is typically installed in the supply air plenum or heat exchanger vicinity to protect against overtemperature conditions. The compact bimetal design fits into tight equipment enclosures common in residential forced-air systems. Because the switch requires a manual reset, it ensures a technician inspects the root cause of the trip before the appliance is returned to service.

Key Features

Manual reset operation requires technician intervention after a trip event

350 degrees F cutout temperature for high-limit safety protection

1/2 inch bimetal sensing element in a compact, versatile housing

Vertical 1/4 inch quick-connect terminals for straightforward wiring

UL recognized and CSA approved for use in listed appliances

Uses 36T electrical ratings

Made in the United States

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement manual reset limit switch for residential and light commercial gas or electric heating appliances requiring a 350 degrees F cutout bimetal control.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Disconnect all power to the appliance and, for gas units, shut off the gas supply before servicing any limit switch. Ensure the replacement switch mounting orientation matches the original to maintain proper thermal contact. After installation, do not restore power without first diagnosing the condition that caused the original limit trip.

Technical Specifications

Cutout Temperature: 350 degrees F

Reset Type: Manual

Sensing Element: 1/2 inch Bimetal

Terminal Style: Vertical 1/4 inch

Electrical Rating: 36T

Material: Bimetal

Certifications: UL Recognized, CSA Approved

Country of Origin: United States

Standard Information

Brand: SUPCO

Manufacturer Part Number: SRL350
