This elbow allows a plumber or pipefitter to change direction in a water supply line without soldering, crimping, or using a separate clamp. The solid brass construction delivers durability in both hot and cold water applications. At 0.185 pounds, the fitting is compact and lightweight, making it practical for tight spaces inside walls, under cabinets, or in mechanical chases.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations where a 90-degree directional change is needed in a CTS water supply line. It is commonly used during new construction rough-in, renovation work, and repair situations where eliminating the need for a torch or crimping tool speeds up the job. Licensed plumbers and skilled DIYers both use push-to-connect fittings in these scenarios to reduce labor time and minimize heat-related risks near combustible framing.

Key Features

Push-to-connect design requires no soldering, crimping, or special tooling for installation

90-degree elbow configuration for directional changes in supply piping

Solid brass body construction for corrosion resistance in potable water service

CTS (Copper Tube Size) sizing ensures compatibility with standard copper and eligible plastic tubing

Sold individually, allowing single-fitting replacement or multi-fitting purchasing as needed

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for CTS plumbing systems carrying potable water in residential and light commercial applications.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC.
