Operating on 12 or 24 volts DC, this unit remains locked when power is removed, making it the correct choice for perimeter doors and security-critical openings where a locked state must be maintained during a power loss or system fault. The Galaxy lever trim and satin chrome (626) finish give it a clean, professional appearance suitable for office, healthcare, and education environments. It is specified and installed by licensed access control technicians and commercial door hardware professionals.

The Z7252-G-Q is intended for commercial hollow-metal and wood doors requiring electrified cylindrical lockset hardware. The Galaxy lever trim pairs with standard cylindrical lock preps, and the integrated request-to-exit (REX) function supports door monitoring and access control panel integration. This lock is suited for single-door openings where a fail-secure electric cylindrical lock with lever trim is required by the security design or code compliance plan.

Key Features

Fail-secure operation - door remains locked when power is removed

Dual voltage input: 12 or 24 volts DC

Galaxy lever trim for a standard commercial appearance

Satin chrome (626) finish

Integrated request-to-exit (REX) function for access control panel compatibility

ELECTRA PRO cylindrical lock platform for reliable electrified hardware performance

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style electrified cylindrical lock replacement or new-installation unit for commercial access control systems requiring fail-secure cylindrical lockset hardware with Galaxy lever trim.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed access control technician or certified commercial door hardware installer familiar with low-voltage wiring and electrified hardware.
