It features female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on all three ports, allowing branch takeoffs from a main run without solvent welding. Schedule 80 PVC offers a thicker wall and higher pressure rating than Schedule 40, making it appropriate for industrial, chemical, and commercial plumbing applications where additional mechanical strength is required. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this fitting in systems carrying water, irrigation fluid, or compatible chemical solutions.

This fitting is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial piping installations where a 2-inch threaded branch connection is needed. Common applications include process water lines, irrigation manifolds, chemical distribution systems, and general plumbing runs that require a durable, corrosion-resistant PVC fitting. Its all-thread end connections make it compatible with standard 2-inch NPT threaded pipe and fittings from any manufacturer following ASTM dimensional standards.

Key Features

Schedule 80 wall thickness for higher pressure capacity compared to Schedule 40

FIPT connections on all three ports for fully threaded assembly without solvent cement

PVC construction resists corrosion, scaling, and many common chemicals

2-inch fitting size suits standard residential and commercial pipe runs

Lightweight at 0.8 pounds, reducing handling fatigue during installation

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 2-inch Schedule 80 PVC threaded piping systems using standard NPT thread connections.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing any existing fittings. Apply PTFE thread tape or an approved pipe thread sealant to all male threads before assembly, and tighten to hand-tight plus a moderate additional turn — do not overtighten PVC threads as the material can crack. Verify the completed assembly for leaks before returning the system to service.

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: Tee

Fitting Size: 2 inches

Material: PVC

Schedule: 80

End Connection: FIPT x FIPT x FIPT

Weight: 0.8 pounds

Standard Information

Brand: PRO-SOURCE

Manufacturer Part Number: 90380600509

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/1756ee2940131794a9abf5e048e301ae_552f957e-91f8-4ebd-9a21-4ddc9ef8b052.jpg?v=1788925151
