Referenced under O-337, this O-ring provides a pressure-rated seal at key connection points within a filter assembly, preventing water bypass and maintaining system integrity. Pool service technicians and equipment installers use this part during routine maintenance, filter teardowns, and tank reseals. Selecting the correct O-ring size and profile is critical to maintaining leak-free operation in any pressurized filtration system.

This O-ring is suited for use in pool and spa filtration systems where a 16-inch sealing diameter is required. It is a direct-fit replacement component intended for PacFab and Pentair filter equipment. Typical applications include seasonal filter openings, post-backwash inspections, and any service call where the filter tank is disassembled and the seal shows wear, cracking, or deformation.

Key Features

16-inch O-ring profile for a precise, leak-free seal on compatible filter tanks

Cross-referenced as O-337 for service lookup and parts identification

OEM-style replacement designed for Pentair and PacFab filtration equipment

Restores proper sealing performance in pressurized pool filter assemblies

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for Pentair and PacFab pool filter equipment requiring a 16-inch O-ring, cross-referenced as O-337.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified pool service technician. Shut off the circulation pump and relieve all system pressure before disassembling the filter tank. Clean the O-ring groove thoroughly and apply an O-ring-compatible lubricant before seating the new seal. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants, as they will degrade the O-ring material over time.

Technical Specifications

O-Ring Size: 16 inches

Cross Reference: O-337

Standard Information

Brand: PENTAIR

Manufacturer Part Number: 152235
