It is built to the exact dimensions entered at the time of order: 21.5 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches actual size. The filter captures airborne particles in the 3-10 micron range while the carbon layer helps reduce common household odors. It is designed for residential forced-air HVAC systems and is installed by HVAC technicians or experienced homeowners comfortable with filter service. This listing covers a 6-pack quantity.

This filter is suited for residential furnaces and central air conditioning systems where a non-standard opening requires a custom-dimensioned filter. Because the filter is hand-made to the dimensions specified at the time of order, it is critical to measure the existing filter with a tape measure before purchasing. The actual width and length of the existing filter should be within 0.125 inches of the ordered size. If a standard nominal size falls within that tolerance, a stock filter may be substituted. This filter fits filter slots requiring an approximate 21.5 x 23.38 x 0.75 inch actual footprint.

Key Features

MERV 7 rating captures 50-70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common airborne odors while maintaining low airflow resistance

Custom-cut to exact dimensions listed - actual size 21.5 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches

Reinforced 2-part frame construction for added durability and consistent performance over filter life

Sold as a 6-pack for extended service intervals

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom-dimensioned replacement for residential forced-air furnace and central AC filter slots requiring an actual size of 21.5 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches. Measure the existing filter before ordering; custom sizes are specific to the dimensions submitted at purchase.

Installation Notes

Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating through the air handler. Note the airflow direction arrow on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. For 1-inch filters in typical residential applications, manufacturers generally recommend inspection every 30-90 days and replacement based on observed loading. Because this is a non-returnable custom item, confirm the opening measurement before installation.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 7

Nominal Size: 21.5 x 23.375 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 21.5 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Box: 6

Frame Construction: Reinforced 2-part frame

Country of Origin: USA

Package Weight: 6 pounds

Package Dimensions: 26 x 26 x 7 inches

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 21_1/2x23_3/8x1ExactCustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_c31db554-6bf6-48b4-928b-f8a806e8c279.jpg?v=1789971745
