Built from electrostatically charged synthetic media with an integrated carbon layer, it captures airborne particulates while also adsorbing odors. The filter measures an actual 22.25 x 25 x 0.75 inches and ships in a 6-pack. It is rated MERV 12, capturing over 90% of particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install this filter as a direct custom-fit replacement where standard nominal sizes do not apply.

This filter is suited for residential and office HVAC applications where a non-standard opening requires a custom exact-size filter. The custom construction may involve cutting down or combining filter frames, and tape may be used to achieve the specified dimensions. Because this is a made-to-order custom size, it is non-returnable. The filter targets lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and odors. Nordic Pure recommends changing the filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.

Key Features

MERV 12 rating captures over 90% of particles from 3 to 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles from 1 to 3 microns

Integrated carbon layer adsorbs odors including smoke and household cooking odors

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and retains fine particulates

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added rigidity and supports consistent airflow

Custom exact-size cut at 22.25 x 25 x 0.75 inches for non-standard filter openings

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-cut to exact dimensions for residential or light commercial AC and forced-air furnace systems with a non-standard filter opening measuring approximately 22.25 x 25 x 0.75 inches. Power down or set the thermostat to off before replacing the filter to prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the media during the swap. Confirm the airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow in the air handler or furnace cabinet. Because this is an exact custom-size filter, measure the existing filter opening carefully before installation to confirm fit.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 12 Plus Carbon

Nominal Size: 22 1/4 x 25 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 22.25 x 25 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 12

Quantity per Box: 6

Weight: 5 pounds

Box Dimensions: 26 x 26 x 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 22_1/4x25x1ExactCustomM12+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/40183279e2f4016dccc996e0811481b0_664fab9d-0d10-45c9-95b7-0ef0158007b1.jpg?v=1789991067
