Each filter measures 8 x 28 x 0.75 inches actual size and is hand-fabricated to match the nominal 8x28x1 opening. The carbon layer addresses common household odors while the pleated media captures airborne particles in the 3-10 micron range. This six-pack is manufactured in the USA and sold exclusively as a custom-made, non-returnable item. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install these in forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems requiring a precise fit.

This filter is intended for forced-air HVAC applications where standard off-the-shelf sizes do not fit the filter slot. The exact 8 x 28 x 0.75 inch actual dimensions are built to the measurements entered at time of order. Suitable for residential furnaces, central air handlers, and similar ducted systems that accept a 1-inch nominal filter slot. Because each unit is hand-made to the specified dimensions, the buyer must verify the actual filter cavity measurement with a tape measure before ordering. Standard-size filters should be ruled out before placing a custom order.

Key Features

MERV 7 filtration captures 50-70 percent of airborne particles between 3-10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and odors

Integrated carbon layer reduces common household odors without significantly increasing airflow resistance

Reinforced 2-part frame provides structural support and consistent performance across the filter life

Custom exact-cut construction built to the actual dimensions entered at order - actual size 8 x 28 x 0.75 inches

Six filters per pack, supporting a recommended 30-90 day replacement cycle for 1-inch media

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed for forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning air handlers that accept a nominal 8x28x1 filter size. Verify the actual filter slot measurement before ordering, as this is a non-returnable custom-made product. The actual filter dimensions are 8 x 28 x 0.75 inches; the slot must accommodate this exact size.

Installation Notes

Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before replacing any air filter. Confirm airflow direction indicated on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow in the duct or blower cabinet before inserting. For 1-inch media in residential systems, Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of 30-90 days depending on household conditions such as pets, dust, or high occupancy. Because this is a custom-made item, measure the existing filter or empty slot to the nearest fraction of an inch before ordering to ensure proper fit.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 7

Nominal Size: 8 x 28 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 8 x 28 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Weight: 6 pounds

Box Width: 21 inches

Box Height: 32 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224163855

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 8x28x1ExactCustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_b5bb3f47-5ab0-4aa4-921a-4d38b2cc6af7.jpg?v=1789999748
