The actual size is 8 inches by 14 inches by 0.75 inches, cut to exact dimensions for a precise fit in residential and commercial air handling systems. The filter media is electrostatically charged to attract airborne particles and is constructed in a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame. MERV 10 filtration captures over 85 percent of particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners alike install this filter as a direct replacement in standard 1-inch filter slots.

This filter is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC applications where improved indoor air quality is a priority. It is especially appropriate in homes with pets, allergy sufferers, or environments with elevated dust loads. The MERV 10 rating is comparable to MPR 900-1000 filters used by other manufacturers. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 1 to 3 months depending on system usage and indoor conditions. Because this is a custom-made filter, dimensions are cut to the exact nominal size ordered.

Key Features

MERV 10 rated - captures over 85 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns

Electrostatically charged pleated media attracts and holds lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and smoke particles

Heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with reinforced 2-part construction for added durability

Filter media does not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface

Custom cut to exact dimensions - nominal size 8x14x1, actual size 8 inches by 14 inches by 0.75 inches

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom-fit replacement for residential and commercial HVAC systems requiring a 1-inch nominal filter slot with an 8x14x1 nominal opening. Before replacing the filter, shut down the air handler or furnace at the system switch or breaker to prevent unfiltered air from passing through the system during changeout. Verify airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with system airflow direction before seating the filter. Because this is a custom-made product cut to exact dimensions, confirm measurements before ordering, as returns are not accepted on custom sizes.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: Pleated, Electrostatically Charged

MERV Rating: MERV 10

Comparable Rating: MPR 900-1000

Nominal Size: 8 x 14 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 8 x 14 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Frame Material: Moisture-resistant beverage board

Package Weight: 3 pounds

Package Width: 15 inches

Package Height: 15 inches

Package Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224094784

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 8x14x1ExactCustomM10-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/4b2774cd9a9deadb30ce5073fc7fe774_06d254c4-74e2-409f-ac63-58ebcced5274.jpg?v=1790012366
