It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems, including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. The carbon layer addresses common household odors alongside standard particulate filtration. These filters are hand-fabricated to the listed dimensions and are installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners performing routine filter maintenance. Each order ships as a 6-pack, weighing 2.5 pounds total.

This filter fits forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems that require a non-standard filter opening measuring approximately 7.5 x 11.5 x 0.75 inches in actual size. It is custom-manufactured to the exact nominal dimensions entered at the time of order, making it appropriate for installations where standard off-the-shelf filter sizes do not fit the filter slot. Typical applications include residential air handlers, upflow and downflow furnaces, and return-air grille openings that fall outside standard sizing. Because these are custom-made, verifying actual filter slot measurements before ordering is essential.

Key Features

MERV 7 rating captures 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer helps reduce common household odors alongside particulate filtration

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added durability and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

Custom-cut to nominal 8x12x1 inches (actual 7.5 x 11.5 x 0.75 inches) for non-standard filter openings

Sold in a 6-pack to support scheduled filter change intervals of 30 to 90 days

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-manufactured to fit HVAC systems and return-air openings requiring a nominal 8x12x1-inch filter with an actual size of 7.5 x 11.5 x 0.75 inches. Before installing, power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat and verify the actual filter slot dimensions with a tape measure to confirm fit. Insert the filter with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower. Nordic Pure recommends replacing 1-inch filters every 30 to 90 days depending on environmental conditions.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 7

Nominal Size: 8 x 12 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 7.5 x 11.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Package Weight: 2.5 pounds

Package Dimensions: 15 x 15 x 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224163831

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 8x12x1CustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_9c73eda1-a405-4adc-bc95-27969652a2ff.jpg?v=1789991596
