With an actual size of 5.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches, this filter combines a pleated synthetic media with an activated carbon layer to capture airborne particulates and reduce common household odors. The reinforced two-part frame supports structural integrity throughout the filter's service life. HVAC technicians and homeowners working with non-standard return grilles or filter cabinets will find this custom-cut format suited to applications where standard nominal sizes do not fit.

This filter is intended for use in forced-air heating and cooling systems where a nominal 6 x 20 x 1 inch filter slot is present but requires an exact custom dimension. The actual dimensions of 5.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches are cut to order based on the size specified at purchase. Installers should verify the existing filter slot measurements with a tape measure before ordering, as the actual filter dimension should fall within 1/8 inch of the measured opening. This product is not returnable once manufactured. Recommended replacement interval for 1-inch filters is every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions.

Key Features

MERV 8 filtration captures 70 to 85 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors from cooking, pets, and volatile compounds

Reinforced two-part frame provides added structural support and resists collapse under normal system static pressure

Custom-cut to actual size of 5.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches to fit non-standard filter openings

Sold in a 6-pack to reduce ordering frequency

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom-size OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems requiring a nominal 6 x 20 x 1 inch filter with an actual dimension of 5.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Confirm airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a 1-inch filter, inspect and replace on a 30-to-90-day cycle or more frequently in high-dust or high-pet-dander environments.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 8 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 8

Nominal Size: 6 x 20 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 5.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Weight: 2.5 pounds

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224165071

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 6x20x1CustomM8+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/6ddac352816a885602759fc7a6c0d24c_d403e7c5-606e-43db-aef0-e7a8f8616da5.jpg?v=1789981061
