Sold in a 6-pack, each filter is hand-fabricated to the exact nominal dimensions of 6 x 12 x 1 inches, with an actual size of 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches. The activated carbon layer addresses common household odors while the MERV 7 media captures particles in the 3-10 micron range. HVAC technicians and experienced homeowners install this filter in forced-air systems where a non-standard opening requires a precision-fit replacement rather than a shelf-size unit.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air heating and cooling applications where the filter opening does not match any standard nominal size. The custom fabrication process involves cutting or combining standard filter frames, and tape may be used to achieve the specified dimensions depending on the size ordered. Installers should confirm the actual opening measurement with a tape measure before ordering. Because this filter is built to order for a non-standard opening, it is not eligible for return once produced. Typical replacement interval for a 1-inch filter is every 30 to 90 days depending on household conditions.

Key Features

MERV 7 filtration captures 50-70% of airborne particles between 3-10 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, lint, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors

Custom exact-size construction fabricated to the nominal dimensions entered at time of order

Reinforced 2-part frame designed for balanced filtration and consistent airflow support

Low airflow resistance helps HVAC systems maintain operating efficiency

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom exact-size replacement filter for residential forced-air furnace and AC systems with non-standard filter openings measuring 6 x 12 x 1 inches nominal. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with system airflow before seating the filter. Because this is a custom-fabricated unit, verify the actual opening measurement to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering to ensure proper fit.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon

Nominal Size: 6 x 12 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 7

Quantity per Box: 6

Weight: 2.5 pounds

Box Width: 15 inches

Box Height: 15 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224163725

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 6x12x1ExactCustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_3dd1096a-d538-40a4-80bc-e4be06ad5934.jpg?v=1789955586
