It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems where the filter opening does not match standard nominal sizes. The actual dimensions are 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches, manufactured to those exact measurements. MERV 14 filtration captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 75% to 95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. The activated carbon layer addresses common household odors. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers handling non-standard filter bays are the primary installers.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems with non-standard or custom filter openings measuring 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches actual. It is built for environments where allergen control, odor reduction, and fine-particle capture are priorities. The reinforced 2-part frame supports consistent airflow and structural integrity throughout the filter life. For 1-inch thick filters, Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of 30 to 90 days depending on local air quality and household conditions.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and fine particulates

Activated carbon layer reduces common airborne odors, including smoke and smog

Custom exact-cut to 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches actual size - not a trimmed standard filter

Reinforced 2-part frame provides added structural durability and balanced airflow support

Sold as a 6-pack for extended supply on a single order

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed for forced-air furnace and central AC systems with a filter bay that accepts a custom filter measuring 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches actual.
