Rated MERV 14, this filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75% and 95% of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range. The activated carbon layer addresses odors and gaseous contaminants alongside particulate filtration. Built with a reinforced two-part frame for structural integrity, this filter is manufactured to the exact nominal dimensions entered at order time. HVAC technicians and service pros installing into non-standard filter openings rely on custom sizing to ensure a proper seal and prevent bypass air. This listing covers a box of 6 filters.

This filter is sized for air handler returns, furnace filter slots, and central AC systems that require a non-standard opening. The nominal size is 28x36x1, with an actual size of 27.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches. Frames are constructed by cutting down or combining standard 1-inch filter frames, and tape may be used depending on the final dimensions. Because this is a custom-made product built to the exact measurements specified at ordering, it is not eligible for returns. Installers should measure the existing filter or filter slot precisely before ordering, targeting actual dimensions within 1/8 inch of the listed size.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, viruses, and smog particles

Activated carbon layer reduces odors and gaseous contaminants

Reinforced two-part frame design provides added durability and supports consistent airflow

Custom-manufactured to actual dimensions of 27.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches for precise fit in non-standard openings

Sold as a 6-pack for extended service intervals

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems requiring a non-standard 28x36x1 nominal filter opening.
