Supplied in a 6-pack, each filter measures 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches actual size against a nominal 28x34x1 designation. The activated carbon layer targets odors and volatile contaminants alongside the pleated media. HVAC technicians and HVAC-savvy homeowners install this filter where a non-standard opening requires a custom-cut frame rather than an off-the-shelf size.

This filter is suited for forced-air systems in residential and light-commercial applications where the return-air grille or filter cabinet accepts a custom nominal 28 x 34 x 1 inch filter. The reinforced two-part frame construction is built to hold its shape across the rated service interval. Nordic Pure recommends replacing 1-inch filters every 30 to 90 days depending on household conditions such as pets, occupant allergies, or high-dust environments. All six filters in the pack share the same custom dimensions, so verify the actual opening size before ordering.

Key Features

MERV 12 filtration captures over 90% of particles from 3 to 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles from 1 to 3 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and lint

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside particulate filtration

Custom actual size of 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches fits non-standard openings that stock sizes do not accommodate

Reinforced two-part frame maintains structural integrity and supports consistent airflow throughout the filter life

Sold as a 6-pack for extended supply between service visits

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and central AC systems requiring a nominal 28 x 34 x 1 inch filter slot. Measure the actual opening to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering, as this is a non-returnable custom size.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before servicing the filter compartment. Confirm airflow direction marked on the filter frame matches the direction of airflow in the duct or cabinet before seating the filter. Because this is a custom-cut size, verify the actual opening dimensions with a tape measure prior to ordering, as custom filters cannot be returned.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 12 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 12

Nominal Size: 28 x 34 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Package Weight: 7 pounds

Box Width: 30 inches

Box Height: 37 inches

Box Depth: 6 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224157731

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 28x34x1CustomM12+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/40183279e2f4016dccc996e0811481b0_808678a2-d715-4c24-ba9b-b76d87f302dc.jpg?v=1789962978
