This filter combines mechanical particle capture with activated carbon media to reduce common airborne allergens and odors in a single filter. Each pack contains 6 filters with a nominal size of 28x34x1 and an actual size of 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches. MERV 10 filtration captures over 85 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns. HVAC technicians and homeowners installing this filter should measure their existing filter carefully before ordering, as this is a custom-cut size manufactured to the exact dimensions specified at purchase.

This filter is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air systems where a standard size filter does not fit the return air grille or air handler cabinet. The 1-inch nominal thickness makes it a direct fit for single-slot filter tracks. Typical applications include gas furnaces, heat pumps, and split-system air handlers with non-standard filter openings. The reinforced 2-part frame construction provides structural support and consistent airflow across the full face of the filter. For standard change intervals, Nordic Pure recommends replacing 1-inch filters every 30 to 90 days depending on environmental conditions such as pet dander load, dust levels, and pollen seasons.

Key Features

MERV 10 rating captures over 85 percent of particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and odors

Activated carbon media layer reduces household odors in addition to particulate filtration

Custom-cut to actual dimensions of 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches for non-standard filter openings

Reinforced 2-part frame construction supports balanced airflow and extended filter life

Pack of 6 filters provides a multi-month supply based on a 30-to-90-day change interval

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems requiring a 28x34x1 nominal filter size. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Use a tape measure to confirm the actual slot dimensions match the 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inch actual size before installation. Replace every 30 to 90 days or sooner in high-dust or high-allergen environments.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 10 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 10

Nominal Size: 28x34x1 inches

Actual Size: 27.75 x 33.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Pack: 6

Weight: 7 pounds

Box Width: 30 inches

Box Height: 37 inches

Box Depth: 6 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 28x34x1CustomM10+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/101b1300033b35987e698aad28b6d8a2_bd176f6c-6041-4047-8aad-38d5416a0d4e.jpg?v=1789960963
