With an actual size of 24.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches, this filter is hand-fabricated to match a specific nominal 25x30x1 opening. The MERV 12 rating means it captures over 90 percent of airborne particles in the 3-10 micron range and 80-90 percent in the 1-3 micron range, targeting dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses. The activated carbon layer addresses common household odors. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter as a direct fit into applications requiring a non-standard filter size.

This filter is intended for forced-air systems where a nominal 25x30x1 slot exists but a standard off-the-shelf size does not fit precisely. It is built by cutting down or combining standard filter frames, with tape used where necessary to achieve the exact dimensions. Typical applications include residential gas and electric furnaces, air handlers, and central AC return-air grilles that require custom sizing. Because this is a 1-inch-thick filter, replacement intervals of every 30-90 days are recommended depending on household conditions such as pets, dust load, and air quality.

Key Features

MERV 12 rating captures over 90 percent of particles 3-10 microns and 80-90 percent of particles 1-3 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors at the filter media level

Custom actual size of 24.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches hand-fabricated to fit non-standard filter openings

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides structural support and balanced airflow resistance

Pack of 6 filters supports multiple scheduled replacement cycles

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-made to fit HVAC systems requiring a nominal 25x30x1 filter slot with an actual opening of approximately 24.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches. Measure the existing filter or filter slot before ordering, as this is a non-returnable custom size. If the actual width and length of the opening fall within 1/8 inch of these dimensions, this filter is the appropriate fit.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel. Always shut down the furnace or air handler at the thermostat and disconnect power at the breaker before opening the filter compartment. Verify airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom-fabricated product, confirm exact slot dimensions with a tape measure prior to ordering, as custom filters are not eligible for return.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 12 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 12

Nominal Size: 25 x 30 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 24.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Weight: 7 pounds

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 25x30x1CustomM12+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/40183279e2f4016dccc996e0811481b0_c29c8d44-2beb-40c3-848a-84e6fdf29d2d.jpg?v=1790059159
