It is designed to fit residential and light-commercial air handlers and forced-air furnaces where a non-standard filter opening requires precise dimensions. The electrostatically charged synthetic filter media captures particles down to 0.3 microns, including mold spores, bacteria, and fine smoke particulates, while the carbon layer addresses odors. HVAC technicians, facility maintenance staff, and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter in systems where standard nominal sizes will not seat correctly.

This filter is used in residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems with non-standard filter slots that cannot accept a common nominal size. The 25 x 28 x 0.75-inch exact actual dimension makes it appropriate for applications where off-the-shelf 25x28x1 stock filters leave gaps at the frame edge. It ships in a 6-pack, providing a practical supply for a 30-to-90-day replacement cycle. No specific OEM equipment model numbers were provided by the manufacturer for this SKU; verify your filter slot dimensions before ordering, as this is a custom-made product.

Key Features

MERV 13 rating captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron, including pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and fine virus carriers

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors passing through the filter media

Electrostatically charged synthetic pleated media attracts and holds particulates without significantly restricting airflow at typical residential system static pressures

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added rigidity to resist blowout during normal HVAC system operation

Exact custom dimensions (25 x 28 x 0.75 inches actual) eliminate edge gaps that standard nominal-size filters leave in non-standard filter cabinets

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-made to exact dimensions for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnaces and air handlers requiring a non-standard filter slot size of 25 x 28 x 0.75 inches actual. No specific compatible equipment model numbers were provided by the manufacturer. Measure your existing filter slot carefully before ordering; custom sizes are not eligible for return.

Installation Notes

Filter replacement in forced-air HVAC systems is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel, though many system owners change their own filters. Set the system thermostat to the off position before removing the old filter to prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the housing during the swap. Confirm the actual slot dimensions with a tape measure before installing, as this custom filter is manufactured to the listed exact size and should seat within 0.125 inches of the opening on each edge. Follow the airflow-direction arrow printed on the filter frame and replace on a 30-to-90-day schedule depending on environmental conditions and system runtime.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 13 Plus Carbon pleated

MERV Rating: 13

Nominal Size: 25 x 28 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 25 x 28 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Weight: 7 pounds

Box Width: 26 inches

Box Height: 32 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 25x28x1ExactCustomM13+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/0b4260f71d995777c5733963f396df69_b7fcbf01-b615-48cc-b29b-068da5d7b959.jpg?v=1789962059
