It combines a high-efficiency synthetic filter media with an activated carbon layer to capture submicron particulates and reduce airborne odors in a single filter. The actual dimensions are 24.5 inches by 27.5 inches by 0.75 inches, which is standard practice for the nominal 25x28x1 size class. MERV 14 performance means the filter captures over 90 percent of particles between 1 and 10 microns and 75 to 95 percent of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter in forced-air furnace and air-conditioning systems.

This filter is built to order based on the exact nominal dimensions entered at purchase. It is suited to residential forced-air systems where a non-standard filter bay requires a custom cut size. The reinforced two-part frame is constructed by cutting down or combining standard filter frames, and tape may be used depending on the finished size. For 1-inch depth filters, Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions such as pets, dust load, and occupancy. This six-pack provides a practical supply for a full service season.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures over 90 percent of particles between 1 and 10 microns, including pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, bacteria, and fine dust

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside particulate filtration

Reinforced two-part frame provides added structural rigidity to resist collapse under typical residential airflow

Custom-fabricated to the exact nominal dimensions ordered, suited for non-standard filter bays

Made in the USA

Six filters per pack support multiple replacement cycles without reordering

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and air-conditioning systems requiring a nominal 25x28x1 filter size. Because this is a custom-made product, the buyer should measure the actual filter slot opening before ordering to confirm the 24.5-inch by 27.5-inch by 0.75-inch actual size fits the application.

Installation Notes

HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel should power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before replacing the filter. Confirm the airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom-made product it is not eligible for return, so verify the exact slot dimensions with a tape measure prior to ordering. Replace 1-inch filters every 30 to 90 days based on system runtime and environmental conditions.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 14 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 14

Nominal Size: 25x28x1 inches

Actual Size: 24.5 x 27.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Pack: 6

Recommended Replacement Interval: 30-90 days

Weight: 7 pounds

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 25x28x1CustomM14+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/e454bb5ddc4a9cc907a9560dec712355_2e0dee29-c101-4f91-830c-7e953922bfe3.jpg?v=1790037223
