The filter uses a self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber media built with 2.5 times more pleats than standard flat-panel filters, increasing surface area for higher particle capture efficiency. The nominal size is 25x25x1 with an actual size of 24.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches. A two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame provides structural integrity throughout the service life. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable HVAC service professionals install and service these filters as part of routine preventive maintenance programs.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, split-system air handlers, and light commercial HVAC applications where improved indoor air quality is a priority. At MERV 12, it captures lint, household dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, and common allergens. It is particularly useful in environments with pets, occupants with allergies, or spaces undergoing renovation. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months depending on environmental conditions and system runtime.

Key Features

MERV 12 rating captures fine particles including smoke, mold spores, and pet dander without significantly restricting airflow

2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing filtration surface area for longer service intervals and improved capture efficiency

Actual size of 24.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches ensures precise fit in compatible filter slots

Heavy-duty two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame resists deformation in humid operating conditions

Equivalent to MPR 1500-1900 efficiency range for residential applications

Manufactured in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a 25x25x1 nominal-size filter slot. Always verify the actual filter opening measures approximately 24.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes frequently differ across equipment manufacturers.

Installation Notes

Air filter replacement is typically performed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel as part of scheduled preventive maintenance. Power down or set the system to the off position at the thermostat before removing the old filter to prevent unfiltered air from passing through the system during changeout. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and align it with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.

Technical Specifications

Nominal Size: 25 x 25 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 24.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 12

MPR Equivalent: 1500-1900

Filter Media: Synthetic polyester fiber, self-supporting

Frame Material: Two-part moisture-resistant beverage board

Quantity per Box: 6

Package Weight: 8 pounds

Package Dimensions: 26 x 26 x 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 25x25x1M12MiniPleat-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/8458ef0a40e8de6a903adb3526e872ee_b95d9a88-9099-4d47-9031-522ae532e57c.jpg?v=1789994527
