Rated MERV 13, this filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. The filter media is electrostatically charged to attract and hold contaminants including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and virus carriers. The frame is constructed from a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board. This SKU ships as a 6-pack with a nominal size of 22x36x1 and an actual size of 21.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches.

This filter is used in residential homes and light commercial spaces where improved indoor air quality is a priority. It is well suited for occupants with allergies, asthma, or sensitivity to airborne particles. Installed in the return-air slot of a forced-air HVAC system, it replaces a standard 22x36x1 nominal filter. Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of every 1 to 3 months under normal conditions, with more frequent changes in homes with pets or high dust loads. This is a custom-manufactured size, hand-cut to the exact dimensions specified at the time of order.

Key Features

MERV 13 efficiency captures over 90% of particles in the 1 to 10 micron range and 50% to 70% of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range

Electrostatically charged media attracts airborne contaminants including smoke, bacteria, and virus carriers

Reinforced 2-part beverage board frame offers moisture resistance and structural durability

Filter media will not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface

Custom-cut to exact nominal dimensions of 22x36x1; actual size is 21.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 22x36x1 nominal filter slot. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Confirm the airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom-cut product, measure the existing filter opening carefully before ordering, as custom sizes cannot be returned or exchanged.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 13 Pleated

MERV Rating: 13

Nominal Size: 22x36x1 inches

Actual Size: 21.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Frame Material: Moisture-resistant beverage board

Country of Origin: USA

Package Weight: 5 pounds

Package Width: 30 inches

Package Height: 37 inches

Package Depth: 6 inches

UPC: 848224099109

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 22x36x1CustomM13-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/b571d721d0ca365cf1fa16cc3e5be372_89bcf504-154e-4777-bcb0-fc4450380dcb.jpg?v=1789962941
